what we are learning this term

Autumn Term

At Parkway Academy, we use the GetSet4Music scheme to evoke a love of music in our students. They will have the opportunity to listen to different genres of music and appraise them, perform using instruments and improvise their own parts to existing beats.

They will use technical vocabulary to discuss music with their peers, while being exposed to a wide variety of music to help lay the foundational blocks required to build a passion for music. Classes will perform a song of their choice at the end of the school year.
