In English, we have been continuing with our sentence stacking lessons, looking at how Hogarth heard noises and noticing Iron Man. We used similes, adverbs, verbs and feelings. In our other sentence stacking lessons this week we used questions, prepositions and adjectives to describe various aspects of our story.

In Maths, we have been continuing with our learning on place value. This week, we have looked at ordering numbers in ascending and descending ordering. As well as this, we have been comparing numbers to 10,000 using less than, greater than and equals to. We have been looking at various reasoning and problem-solving questions, thinking about these questions, preparing something, discussing and sharing with the class.

In Computing, we have been looking at E-safety, where we have looked at how cyberbullying can happen online, identifying things that bullies might say, how to deal with situations online, identifying the best course of action. We then created posters based on cyberbullying.

In History, we looked at the Persian wars and how Ionia asked for help and Athens sent soldiers and ships to help them.
